31 per cent of non-EU citizens living in Ireland are at risk of poverty, according to a new survey from Eurostat.

The study also found that 13 per cent of citizens from other EU states living in Ireland are at risk of living in poverty.

The Czech Republic at 7.7 per cent recorded the lowest rate of non-EU citizens at risk.

Grace Bolton of the EU Commission says Belgium recorded the highest rate of non-EU citizens at risk of poverty.
