There's great news today for Irish farmers.

The European Union has signed an Economic Partnership Agreement with Japan.

Under the deal, tariffs or charges will be slashed across a range of areas which will make Irish beef and dairy products cheaper for Japanese importers.

Grace Bolton of the EU Commission says the new agreement is a great boost for Irish agriculture.
