One in three Irish people don't know that mobile phone roaming charges in the EU have ended.

Figures from Eurobarometer show that 67 per cent of Irish people are more aware that roaming charges no longer apply compared to the EU average of 62 per cent.

Mobile phone roaming charges within the European Union ceased on June 15th 2017.

Grace Bolton of the European Commission office in Dublin says there are two ways to cut down on mobile phone bills when travelling within the EU.
