The European Commission is warning that risks remain for the Irish economy if property prices continue to rise.

A post-bailout report says the current state of the Irish economy suggests the tax base here should be broadened.

It also says that Ireland is performing well in paying its national debt of over €200 billion.

Jonathan Claridge of the EU office in Dublin says the report shows the Irish economy is performing remarkably well but risks remain.
